About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Execute global and hub strategies at the country level with precision and alignment
  • Provide strategic insights and feedback to shape global and regional plans
  • Identify and mitigate country-specific risks in systems and processes
  • Lead local implementation and optimization of global systems and tools
  • Analyse and communicate country metrics to leadership and stakeholders
  • Champion data quality initiatives across clinical systems and platforms
  • Drive innovation and change management to enhance study execution
  • Develop and deliver country-specific communication and transformation plans
  • Support cross-functional resource planning and operational excellence
  • Monitor external trends and regulations to inform strategic decisions

Essential for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences; advanced degree in scientific or business field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, in clinical research
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage change in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of global and local drug development regulations and standards
  • Experience with performance management and productivity improvement projects
  • Skilled in analysing data and generating actionable business insights
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of local language is an advantage

Desirable for the role:

  • Experience applying quantitative methods to improve productivity or redesign operational processes
  • Familiarity with IT systems used in clinical research and a mindset for continuous optimisation
